(Maple Valley, Washington) –Dale Alsager D.O., Ph.D., longtime family physician in Maple Valley, and part-time medical school instructor, has been appointed Interim Dean, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of Seattle based International Cloud University.

“Technology is dramatically changing the landscape for traditional degree and certificate educational programs,” says Dr. Alsager, a seasoned medical practitioner and medical school educator at Okanagan College, Bastyr University, and P.W. University in Yakima, Washington.

“The traditional bricks and mortar medical schools are no longer sustainable, or affordable. Thanks to new mobile digital technology, cost-effective alternatives are very exciting,” reports Dr. Alsager.

“Utilizing patented, high-tech, 3- and 4-D animated computer apps to produce cloud-based teaching modules in compressed data form, International Cloud University will make it possible for students in any country to obtain an accredited medical degree, anywhere in the world. The number of students that we can reach through Cloud University is in the millions and the tuition costs are a fraction of traditional medical school tuition.” “This technology can be applied to many degree and certificate programs as well,” Dr. Alsager reports.

“When full production is reached we will need additional space to accommodate 26 teams of technology experts to handle the production demands. We are working now establishing course content, finalizing the technology and designing a digital curriculum that will meet accreditation criteria. The interest in this new educational technology is growing rapidly,” says Dr. Alsager.

Production of instruction modules for this project has already started under Dr. Alsager’s direction at a temporary location in Maple Valley, WA.
